(another draft)This is the completed poster for the band Changing Modes and their new album 'Neon Dream'. The poster was shown to an audience and this is the feedback we received:
PROS:
There is a clear house style, with the use of bright colours and a clear style that transcends well between the two.
Excellent range of images and creative photography
Excellent use of photoshop
Clear sense of pop/punk genre
Back cover very professional
Poster and digi-pack, same color schemes (Like the colors)
Images feel relevant and obvious sense of genre
Bright vibrant colors- looks very hippy 80's/90's look
Like the illustration of the band members on panel 5
The overall look is all good a colours nd I would say it's a level 3/4.
Cross media promotion similar/style used
Neon colors gives it that vintage look
CONS:
Poster- Font style and too much text makes it a bit busy
Are the times and gradian relevant to the TA?
The placement of Changing modes or poster
Some color on the line drawing?
The neon is too vibrant, which makes it hard to see the artist faces.
Band name difficult to notice and read
The poster is slightly clustered
Panel 5 looks very different to all the other panels, i think you should add red in it to make it all flow together
Panel 1, 4 and 6 go together but 2 and 3 go together
I don't like panel 2 much because of the colors of black and red, which reminds me of the rock genre
It looks more hard rock/heavy metal but I do like it
